If you're looking at this page, then you're probably an amateur radio operator, or "ham", yourself.

This means you've probably checked out quite a few ham sites on the net besides this one.

There is a very definite trend that I've noticed with many amateur radio websites: They are nothing more than links to other ham's websites!

While this is all fine and dandy, and adheres to the idea of crosslinking sites on the web, it does very little for "greenhorn", "newbie" or future amateur radio operators.

I intend to help break this cycle by providing links ONLY to sites which themselves contain information or are neatly organized link sites as well as providing access to web based calculators for antenna construction.

I ran across many of these calculators while surfing the web for antenna formulas, but were simply BASIC program listings. For our mutual benefit, I have ported these calculators to PHP and/or C and will have them available for online use and also provide downloadable source code.
